Built for dogs who shed, dig and drool

The bed your dog actually sleeps in.And you can actually wash.

Most dog beds go flat by month four and start to smell by summer. Wagrest is four and a half inches of furniture-grade foam under a ripstop cover that unzips in one pull and goes straight in the machine. Buy the bed once.

Why this one is different

Three things a cheap bed gets wrong.

A $40 bed is a bag of shredded offcuts in a cover you can't get off. It flattens, it holds smell, and in a year it's in a bin bag. We fixed those three things and charged what fixing them costs.

It survives the dog

The shell is 1000-denier ripstop canvas, the weave used for workwear and crate liners. Claws slide off it instead of pulling threads. Every corner is bar-tacked and every seam double-stitched, because corners and seams are where a cheap bed splits first.

The whole cover comes off

One zip runs the full perimeter. Pull the cover, cold wash, tumble low, and it's back on before your dog has finished sulking. Under it sits a waterproof liner, so a bad night stops at the liner and never reaches the foam.

It doesn't go flat

Four and a half inches of furniture-grade foam: a memory layer on top for pressure, a high-resilience core underneath for support. It holds a 90-pound dog without bottoming out on the floor, and it still holds them in year five.

Wash day

The whole thing, in one wash cycle.

This is the part most beds get wrong. A zip that only opens one short side, foam you have to fold in half to extract, a cover that shrinks and never goes back on. None of that here.

  1. 01

    Unzip it

One zip, all the way around. Ten seconds, no wrestling the foam out through a slot the size of a letterbox.

  2. 02

    Wash it cold

Cover goes in the machine on cold with your normal detergent. The liner wipes clean with a damp cloth.

  3. 03

    Put it back

Tumble low or hang it. The cut is generous enough that it goes back on without a fight.

Trust, the honest version

No reviews yet, and we won't invent any.

Wagrest is taking its first orders right now. Every other bed site greets you with a wall of five-star quotes, and plenty of those are bought. We would rather leave this space empty and fill it with the real thing.

When the first beds have been slept on, dragged around and washed a few times, we will put what those owners tell us right here, names and dogs and all, including the parts we would rather not print. Until then, judge us on the build, the materials and the promise below. Those are the ones we can stand behind today.

If the dog says no, we take it back.

A bed is a guess until your dog has slept on it. So the risk sits with us, not with you.

100 nights to decide
Dogs are picky and slow to change their minds. Sleep on it for a full season. If your dog won't use it, tell us and we collect it at our cost.
Ten years on the foam
If the core flattens under normal use inside ten years, we replace it. Three years on the cover against seam or zip failure.
Shipping both ways
Free delivery on every bed, and free return pickup if it comes back. No restocking charge, no shipping label maths.

The things people email us about.

My dog chews everything. Will this last a week?

The ripstop shell resists claws and general wear, and it holds up to digging and circling. It's not a chew-proof bed, and no bed is. If your dog is a committed destroyer of soft things, supervise the first few weeks. If they chew through it in the first 100 nights, the trial covers you.

How exactly do I wash it?

Unzip the cover, machine wash cold on a normal cycle with your usual detergent, tumble dry low or hang it. Skip bleach and fabric softener, which break down the ripstop coating over time. The waterproof liner is wipe-clean rather than machine washable.

Which size should I get?

Measure your dog nose to tail while they're stretched out, then add six inches. Dogs who sleep curled can size down; sprawlers and anyone who sleeps flat on their side should size up. If you land between two sizes, take the bigger one. Nobody has ever complained the bed was too roomy.

Does it smell of chemicals when it arrives?

There's a faint new-foam smell for the first day or two, the same as a new mattress. Unzip the cover and let it air out somewhere ventilated overnight and it goes. Dogs tend to move in before it does.

Can I buy a spare cover?

Yes. Spare covers are the cheapest way to keep a clean bed on the floor while the other one is in the wash, and they're handy if you want to change colour later. Email us and we'll sort one out.

How long does delivery take?

Beds ship within one working day and usually land in three to five. You get a tracking link the moment it leaves us.
